The Lived Journey
The Lived Journey: Writing the Self Back Into Truth
Bismillah.
Each day, before I speak or reflect, I begin in dhikr. I write the Names of Allah. I recite Qur’an. I whisper the Ziyarahs, and I end with a single verse. One verse a day. That verse becomes the mirror for my life, unlocking the day’s meaning, the family threads, and the subtle pull of the unseen.
This blog is a journey—not of fiction, but of fact. The lived journey. A way of writing that doesn’t begin with imagination but with raw, unveiled truth. Through journaling, tafsir, and reflection, I’m decoding my life verse by verse—through divine numbers, sacred scriptures, and the drama of my own bloodline. This isn’t just spiritual contemplation. It’s spiritual archaeology.
You’ll see me analyzing part 30 in reverse from Surah An-Nas, tracing the waswas (whispers) and envy that live in the shadows of lineage. You’ll see me untangle the spiritual genome—how my mother and father’s seed became the blueprint I walk in. This is about self-knowledge, not in theory, but in divine evidence.
Every family has numbers. Mine is made of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Not just symbols. These are spiritual positions. Some are enemies. Some are children. Some are cycles I must end. As I uncover these archetypes, I discover myself.
This is how we get free.
This is how we prepare for the zuhoor.
This is how we build our akhirah—not in fantasy, but in reflection, honesty, and deep presence.
At the end of each post, I’ll share what I’m working on today:
-
Today’s verse: [Surah Nas (114), verse 2]
-
Daily Practice: 50 verses of Qur’an recitation (Arabic) and reading (English), Names of Allah, dhikr, and transcribing and decoding the verses of Qur'an using abjad values and numerology (birth dates, name numbers etc).
-
Weekly cycle: Tafsir, Creation and Astronomy Verses, Nahjul Fasaha, Nahj al-Balagha, Sahifa Al Sajjadiya, Risalat al-Huqooq both recitation and transcribing.
-
Daily Lesson
I’m not telling you what to do. I’m only showing you what I’m doing. Because if you want to know who you are, the divine has already written it. Your life is the tafsir. Your honesty is the rope.
Welcome to The Lived Journey.
